Sturdy storage bin and sorting tray for easy classroom management. Integrated documentation tool to document projects: pictures, screen shots, videos, and written text. Available on both desktop and tablet devices. Engage students in science by making it real and relevant. Investigating, modelling and designing solutions. The accompanying eLearning program helps teachers to become confident users of the WeDo 2.0 Core Set. The accompanying desktop and tablet supported software provides an easy-to-use programming environment and includes the WeDo 2.0 Curriculum Pack, which covers life, physical, earth, and space sciences, as well as engineering. The set is delivered in a storage bin along with sorting trays, labels, a Smarthub, a Medium Motor, Motion Sensor, a Tilt Sensor, and enough building elements for two students. Customer Service only says what they see in the system, they don't have more information either. This set is based upon the latest science standards and was created to enhance students' curiosity and science skills. I don't say the Simple Medium Linear Motor won't change for sure and it will stay, but at this point it's virtually impossible to get a 100% accurate information from anyone about it. The Zetros was in retired status for weeks in December/January in the central European countries, now it's available again. The status and visibility might also change from region to region.Ĥ5303 is currently shown as retired btw in the US shop (and some other regions), but even this does not mean anything nowadays. 42124 disappeared for weeks last year, also the dump PU battery box, both came back after a while. Not sure if it is related to the production shortage, but apparently TLG prefers to simply pull them instead of showing everything as out of stock. PU motors (and even Control+ sets) have a tendency to vanish from for days or even weeks. The updated BI and Bricks & Pieces both show the current motor with the 6290182 ID. I don't think the Medium motor will be replaced in the set. Possibly, it may have a single (unknown for me) reason. The currently prodused set 42129 Zetros uses this motor amon other modern-PU ones, and now, since the set is under review-redesign to add srews to the battery Block lid locks, this motor may be replaced too. There were some rumors it is going to be possibly replaced.
